California Certified Professional Food Safety Manager

Since 2000, California law has required each retail food facility to have at least one owner, manager, supervisor, or other person certified as a Food Safety Manager, also known as ServSafe® or Food Protection Manager. Our in-person instructor-led food manager courses are half-day programs taught in ENGLISH followed by a 75-question multiple-choice examination in English or Spanish. You must bring a tablet or laptop computer to take the exam or rent one of ours. Exam-only options are also available. The exam and certificate are ANSI/ANAB Accredited and approved nationally and by all California counties. Certification is good for five (5) years in California. If you have a Certified Food Manager Certificate, you do not need a Food Handler Card.
