Food Safety Manager (Course and Exam) – $119

Since 2000, California law has required each retail food facility to have at least one owner, manager, supervisor or other person certified as a certified food safety manager also known as ServSafe® or Food Protection Manager. Our manager courses and exams are half-day programs, followed by a 85 question examination. Certification is good for five (5) years. Food Safety Manager Exam (Exam Only) – $79

The course is not required, but you must pass the 85 question exam in order to become certified. Certification is good for five (5) years. Food Safety Manager Course and Exam (Re-Test) – $59

If you did not successfully pass the exam from a previous attempt, you may take it again as many times as necessary. Our manager courses and exams are half-day programs, followed by a 85 question examination. Certification is good for five (5) years. Study at Home/Private Exam by Appt. (Manager Certification) – $119

Our study at home program includes the FS&T Food Safety Handbook in English and a private exam by appointment in San Luis Obispo County, Visalia, Stockton/Lodi (after 4pm) or in Tuolume County  (limited availability). After payment, we will mail the book and contact us when you are ready to schedule the exam.

Food Handler Card (CA and other States) $9.95

Food Safety First Principles for Food Handlers certificate program provides food handlers with the knowledge and skills they need to safely handle foods for human consumption. Successful completion of the program assures food managers, regulators and trainers that the certificate holder has completed a basic course in food safety. The First Principles course is based on the on the principles and recommendations of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) Food Code and is recommended for people involved in the preparation, handling, serving and displaying of food. FS&T Certified Food Safety Manager Course Study and Reference Book

Based on the US FDA 2013  Model Food Code, this handbook successfully prepares candidates to pass an accredited food safety manager certification exam. Written at the twelfth-grade level and reasonably priced, it is ideal for teaching managers what they need to know to pass the exam and become certified. When ordered with a course, the book is $15.00 sent by US Mail or $10.00 by email. If you would like to order the book without the course, it is $20.00 and that includes shipping and handling.
